In which Jethro comes home drunk or high. Or in which Jethro takes Mike to a party and he gets drunk/high and Mike has to take care of him. Or in which Mike just finds out about the drug usage yada. Or in which they go on a ski trip together and get locked in the cabins because snow and play a million different kinds of games and then they start asking personal questions and they delve more into their pasts while cuddling to keep warm.
an AU I think would be interesting for our muses:
AU in which Jethro is a famous writer and always haggled by the press except one day Mike and Jethro are at the same coffee shop and the press mistake Mike for Jethro so Mike goes out to find Jethro and straighten everything out and so Jethro employs Mike to be his stand-in for press conferences and stuff because he’s too nervous to actually speak to the camera and to people and Mike is way more confident except Jethro only employed Mike for four months, which is until the end of his latest book tour, and Mike leaves and Jethro realizes how much he liked Mike (like like like) and he calls Mike back for a drink and they get to talking and idk where it’s gonna go but it sounds kinda cute
