        “you think i could probably pull off a whole head of   pink hair, don’t you?”  wednesday was definitely not the person enid should’ve been turning to for fashion advice  ( at least not for the type of fashion she was into, anyway ),  but she needed a second opinion.  “kind of like what i had during the rave’n but a bit more... bubblegum, if you know what i mean.”

" WHY does it have to be so cut & dry with you ? " astonished face, after all this time still not getting it. he liked wednesday for who she was ( most of the time ), but there would always be a part of him, likely within his sensitive heart, that couldn't understand her. & he detested that. wishing more than once that one of them would bend, so that maybe whatever it was that he felt between them could be understood, or at the very least justified to himself.     he felt like he was going insane being in this dance. the back & forth of happiness & sorrow she inspired within him was too much to bare, let alone leave be. & as much as he wanted to blame her entirely for it, he often felt that it was him at the core who was to blame.

" why can't you just, i don’t know, APOLOGIZE ? or maybe even try to make things better ? do you really just not care at all about the people who care about you, or are you actually incapable of showing any amount of interest in anything besides ----- inanimate objects ? " he'd seen her typewriter, heard her play on the cello. & he liked to think that his acknowledgement of those things bringing her whatever kind of sense of joy it was that she felt would mean something. but clearly, it didn't. & throwing it back in her face was the only thing he could manage to do when his emotions were this high. ❛ i guess not . ❜ the SADNESS that touches the psychic's face is palpable ; though it looks so at home in his pre-existing melancholy . she's not the one who put it there , but she continues to make it fester just under the skin . she's good at that ------------------- pushing her dysthymia onto others just to watch them squirm . &* GOD IS HE GOOD AT THAT . why do people like putting him under their microscope so much ? he's tired of being under scrutiny .
