These are just a few different things NPCs say about rain without you having to talk to them. Olkin’s “Rain won’t stop ME!” is the best I think, because it seems to have some hidden meaning which I’ll let you guess at.

Olkin admits to teasing and offers a concrete apology. Hey, I never complain when people give me free stuff!

It took me a while before I realized that Kakariko Village has another cooking pot! Of course I found the one that Koko uses right away, since I helped her on my first visit to the village, but this pot that Olkin and Mellie use had slipped past my notice for some time. 

As a side note, I get a kick out of these conversations with Olkin and Mellie. He, on the one hand, is insistent in his feud with Steen, while Mellie, on the other hand, thinks them both petty (and probably childish). It’s fun picking up on these details!

Sometimes it’s fun to walk into people’s houses and see what they have to say...even if they’re sleeping. Some people will wake up if you talk to them, while others remain dead to the world. I think that’s a neat detail!
