Lol, I still can't forget this scene XD
Quora: Why do some people think that Tenten was sucking off Neji during chunin exams? I don't feel that because without her I wouldn't have understood Neji's abilities. She never talked rash about Naruto either then why do people tell that? It annoys me.
I encountered this question in Quora and just look at my answer:
First of all, this Naruto fan base has some toxic people, who hate a character out of no reasons. Say, like NaruSaku fans hate Sasuke and Hinata just because they are interfering with their “so called amazing couple”. And these ship wars go on and often emotionally hurting the extreme stans of other characters. So, in Naruto fandom you can’t expect so many people to love or hate a character with valid reasons.
I know…. The way Kishimoto handles female characters is somehow pathetic. Its sad that girls end up being mouthpieces for boys
I agree with every single word in this question. When I saw the chunin exam battle, I personally didn’t feel that and when people started telling that, I found it odd. I am honest. Maybe, she spoke a little too much but I later understood that for plot reasons. I am sure that many wouldn’t have got the details of every single detail of Neji’s abilities and skills if Tenten-sama wasn’t there and they would be just blinking 🤣🤣
They will ask, “What is Neji during outta right there?” XD
Tenten, in my opinion is unfairly hated. Though female characters are poorly-written, I feel that there is nothing much to hate. Sakura is hated for being obsessed over Sasuke but meantime some forgot that she went into medical ninjutsu and she even said “alright, no problem” and almost even forced Naruto to not do that after being injured so badly. So, when a person starts hating a character, they can’t love them despite they try to change them somehow and just keep tinkering with negative reasons.
Okay, I think Tenten was a little too much but as I mentioned earlier,
ITS FOR THE PLOT FOR GOD’S SAKE.
And mind you, that Swagkage did mention the reason. Naruto fans enjoy hating characters, if for reason or not. I think a character having less-screentime and does things with a lot efforts but ends up failing in it often hated. She too had badass skills but poor girl, ended up being with super-saiyans. That’s a major problem. In fact, even till the end of the Naruto series she is one of the most realistic ninjas. And if Tenten were to live in this world, she won’t give a shit about her haters, dattebayo!
So, I personally don’t find she was sucking off Neji. She fought Temari with a lot of efforts and infact, she was the one who actually displayed some decent fight. Its sad that she gets the short-end of the stick as always. I am hoping to see more of her, which just doesn’t seem to happen.
No wonder what, still hoping!
Period.

One of the first ever NejiTen moments!!
Why Neji? Why did you take your left hand, not your right hand? You are right-handed lfmao.
