MY ARC REVIEW:
The third book in The Splintered Bond series, and boy, these books just get better and better, lots of action and lots going on in the storyline, I really found it difficult to put it down!
Flor's mate collection is growing! Each of them are so different - Brand is fabulous, love him, he would do anything for Flor, like them all really, but he is the soft and emotional one, yet he turns out to be so strong in this book! Glen is the fun one and has rejected his own pack to be with Flor, and is now wanted by the Council, preferably dead. Finnick is back under his parent's thumb, being made to do things he doesn't want to do, whilst loving Flor from afar, trying to keep her away to keep her safe. Luke is the Southern heir, left behind, and in desperate need of Flor in this book, he is literally being kept alive by Grigor, who everyone fears and looks at like the Boogeyman, but I love him and his dark ways with his magic, his courting gifts for Flor are awesome!
None of the Heirs feel like their are worthy of having Flor as their fated mate.
Lots going on in the storyline as the Council decides to take on the packs and war is in the offing!
There is still some hot and steamy passionate moments between the Heir(s) and their mate, sometimes just M/F, others are M/F/M. This ends on a big cliffhanger and I can't wait to find out what happens. Fantastic series, highly recommended for any dark/shifter fans.
