I think that pandora.avi's visual style is genuinely really incredible. the distinct multicolored lights for each delver's headlamp, simultaneously illuminating and obscuring. your only way to see hides details from you. what color is that carpet, that flower, that section of the wall?

i’d like to believe: tal finds so much animosity in himself to direct at erin ∵ she is him, less jaded and more passionate as a younger self can be. he sees [himself/his past] reflected in her face and it makes him sick to his fucking stomach in a special way. where they stand now, they are both narrative foils and parallels. do you ever think about erin’s pink light, sometimes so vivid and saturated it turns red-white?

erin in turn can see her future embodied if she decides to take tal’s path. to keep running from what scares her, a terrified child under a table, to attempt [closed eyes/closed ears] <- ignorance of the starving grief. anger is budding in her, he is already bloomed & enveloped.

shared drive (tracking chunk trails / pushing through the horror of mutter alley), shared fear-hesitance. erin faces the house and her trauma, while tal remains avoidant and drenched in his misery, alone to crawl out of the pit and reopen his wounds on every rock. ∴ he’ll be picked apart by the ravens (they’ll eat the rot even when the wolves & bears take leave, i’ve seen it).

tal & erin both hold the gun Figuratively and Literally. tal led the way in, erin led the way out. and in the thunder she made the bravest choice to jump back down. “they had one too”. oh erin oh erin. the girl that you are. she chose to forge something new.

Alerting all of you since you reblogged a previous post of mine about needing PANDORA.RAR and I figure why not.

The ending of this one left me with many more questions than answers and I wouldn't have it any other way. Also made me compelled to immediately go listen to the song from the very end of Mad God, since Zee cited Mad God as an influence. It's peak.
