doing an entire rewatch of all three seasons recently, do I still enjoy the show? sure, its good fun and is a handy way of catching up on past seasons in an easy to understand way
but the fake commentary is so unbearable at points. like are we really supposed to believe that this 'commentator' is saying exactly the things needed to be said to spell out the narrative focus of said episode? its a bit much sometimes
I find the focus on certain drivers really strange at times too. like im sorry, I know a lot of teams didn't want to be involved at first so they had to take what we could get but hearing what magnussen has to say can only be stretched so far. carlos getting more screen time than lewis talking about blm rubbed me up the wrong way too but what can you do I guess
but its getting too big for its boots and season 4 will be bent and twisted to comical levels to show certain drivers as villains and to paint maks as the plucky underdog who won on the last lap of the last race and I really, really dont want to watch it or hear horner go 'oh but our driver had a crash at 52g' shut the fuck up
creating fake rivalries out of absolutely nothing will never not be funny. like they really tried that with lando and carlos????? hilarious
Leverkusen Stuns Man City at Etihad, Ending 23-Game Home Undefeated Run | Watch on QuickTV Sports Replay ⚽🔥
Manchester City’s Champions League fortress at the Etihad Stadium finally crumbled as Bayer Leverkusen claimed a remarkable 2-0 victory on Tuesday, halting Pep Guardiola’s side’s 23-game unbeaten home streak in the competition. Fans streaming the clash on QuickTV Sports Replay witnessed a tactical upset and heroic goalkeeping that defied City’s dominance.
City Makes Sweeping Changes ⚡🏟️
Pep Guardiola marked his 100th Champions League match as City manager by rotating heavily, resting most of his regular starters. Ten changes in the starting XI backfired as the Bundesliga visitors quickly adapted and took control. Alejandro Grimaldo opened the scoring for Leverkusen on the counter in the 23rd minute after Christian Kofane held up the ball in the penalty area, highlighting the effectiveness of Leverkusen’s quick transitions. QuickTV Sports Replay captured every counter-attack and City’s early struggles in high detail.
Leverkusen Doubles Lead Early in Second Half 🔥⚽
The visitors struck again in the 54th minute when Patrik Schick’s glancing header beat Nathan Ake and goalkeeper James Trafford. Despite Pep bringing on Phil Foden, Jeremy Doku, and Nico O’Reilly to reinforce the attack, City could not break down the resilient Leverkusen defense. QuickTV Sports Replay showed Schick’s clinical finish and the visitors’ disciplined positioning, emphasizing why this victory was so historic.
Haaland Enters, But City Fails to Break Through ⚡🏟️
Erling Haaland, cheered by a standing ovation, entered in the 65th minute but was unable to find the net. Leverkusen keeper Mark Flekken made heroic saves, denying Haaland in a one-on-one situation and repelling other City attacks from Nathan Ake and Tijjani Reijnders. Despite City recording 20 attempts, seven on target, the Dutch goalkeeper proved unbeatable, a sequence fully captured on QuickTV Sports Replay.
Guardiola Accepts Responsibility 🔥⚡
Post-match, Guardiola took accountability for the defeat: “I take full responsibility… the players that started were exceptional but we missed something needed at the highest level. We now have to fight for the next games.” The tactical experiment showcased the challenges of squad rotation in high-stakes matches. Fans on QuickTV Sports Replay were able to see the mix of tactical intent and unforeseen consequences firsthand
Leverkusen Celebrate Historic Victory 🌟⚽
Leverkusen’s players and manager Kasper Hjulmand celebrated a night of grit and character. Defender Jarell Quansah praised the team’s resilience against world-class opponents, calling it “an unbelievable feeling to win at the Etihad.” Hjulmand added, “This night is fuel to our development… a night to remember.” QuickTV Sports Replay captured both the jubilation and the tactical brilliance that ended City’s long-standing unbeaten record at home in European group stage play.
Implications in Champions League ⚡🏟️
The loss leaves City provisionally sixth with 10 points after five games, while Leverkusen rise to 13th. The defeat serves as a reminder of the fine margins in Champions League football and the importance of tactical preparation and world-class goalkeeping. Fans streaming QuickTV Sports Replay were able to relive every pivotal moment—from Grimaldo’s opener to Flekken’s heroic stops.
