#here have some old colleagues in love
That’s it.
That’s the ship, folks.
I’m not good at drawing robots but I AM good about loving these two.
Fun ships: Ratchet love them Wreckers.
Hi I bet Ratchet loves the small tickle he feels through his hand when he cups Percy’s face and feels him hum in contentment when he does so....
...also I’m garbage.
I finally nailed the beard for Ratch’s LL design and OF COURSE I had to redo Percy too. Feat. the blatant fact that I’m Garbage™.
Perceptor and Ratchet are that couple that likes to talk about whatever's on their mind while snuggled or something but one of them always falls asleep and other doesn't mind, they just watch them sleep because they've been working hard and need the rest and also they think they're cute when they sleep.
Percyratch kid thing that I think about often: I'd bet that both Percy and Ratch would try really hard to not enforce any extra expectations other than be "safe/do what makes you happy" on their kid, but instead all of the pressure would come from the medical and scientific communities that they're a part of. From enthusiastic teachers to nosey colleagues, they'd all either encourage the kid to exceed limits and expectations or would just wait to pounce and take advantage the moment the kid showed any kinds of expected talent or success. To top it all off, they'd tell them things such as "it would make your parents so proud" or "I'd expect nothing less from their child" which would do nothing but create feeling of bitter resentment.
