what makes you think dan will propose? idk where i stand on that topic yet i need opinions
a lot of people think it will be phil bc phil is typically seen as the more “dominant” one bc he’s older, but i disagree!! dan has been in love with phil since the moment he first started watching phil on youtube, long before phil even knew he existed. i feel like dan started watching him and was like “i’m gonna marry him some day”, and ever since then he’s been the one to desperately want to propose to phil. other than that, from what we’ve seen dan is the more dramatic one in the relationship- he’s the one who’s not afraid to push the envelope and say things that surprise all of us bc of how open they are. he’s the more outwardly emotional one, and he’s the one who i feel like is always making more over-the-top romantic gestures towards phil (which obviously phil does too, but just not as much bc dan is constantly like “i NEED to show this man how much i love him in the craziest ways AT ALL TIMES”). dan is the type of person who can easily go on a long rant about any subject he’s passionate about, which makes it so easy for me to imagine him going on a tangent to phil about how in love with him he is and how much phil means to him, and then deciding the only way to make it more obvious is by getting down on one knee. idk, i also slightly have the theory that when dan goes to propose, phil will be like “no fair! i wanted to be the one to propose!” to which dan will respond “no way Lester, i’ve been waiting to do this since the second i first saw your face on my laptop screen, let me have this” and then phil drops it and let’s him carry on, because who is he to say no to dan?
