It wasn’t like him to be this curious about another person. Well, this wasn’t exactly a person. Just a cognition. One he came to resent over time just knowing he existed. It was just a twisted version of Akechi that he could hardly stand to look at without getting angry. Yet here he was, inside Shido’s Palace alone without the rest of the team since he didn’t want them getting caught up in things.
The last place they explored was that large boiler room. But would he even be there? He knew he was probably walking into a trap, but Joker was a little more aware of it.
“I know I won’t be able to shake this off until I see him again. I want to know what makes this guy tick.”
Feet slowly made their way into the large room, heels tapping against the metal flooring there and glancing around his surroundings, which seemed oddly vacant for now. Who knew when that would change?
