Yeah interests do tend to shift around after being exposed to one aesthetic/game style for too long. I had a massive soulsborne burn out when I finished DS3, but I recovered. I do feel that same tiredness slowly creep up as I play ER DLC now. (Then again, I was never too attached to ER as other fromsoft titles.) I’ll always look forwards to new fromsoft stuff, but I’ll probably take a short break from mechanically souls-like games after ER.
Yeah... it has been years. I really like it, still like it, but Elden Ring just couldn't get me as much as the others and I noticed that in 2023 I got a lot more intested in other media again, like I got back into Pokémon and Harvest Moon and starter FF14 which now REALLY got me, so I think I will focus on it for a while. After all, you should do and create what makes you happy ^^
