Vim plugin manager
While the advice to avoid plugins as much as possible and instead rely on native features is attractive, I nevertheless do use some plugins. Managing them has been fine with pathogen, so far, but this Vim Plug manager has the advantage of updating all the plugins in parallel.
For the moment I shall stick with pathogen as it is simple and minimalist, despite the fact that it means that I need to keep interacting with git submodules.
