Boyd Rice / NON “Total War” b/w “Track 13″ (2016)
“I’ll never die. I’ll be here, you know…it’s like, I’ll never go away” said Boyd Rice in a sitdown with Frausun Media. The interview shows he’s never changed with his dark sense of humor, takes on pop culture, and his views of the absurdity and stupidity of human nature. It was on the same night he performed at a secret show in Dallas, Texas on June 12, 2016 and why this release flew mostly under the radar. “Total War” finally has its’ own single with side-A a 1997 live performance of it at Forth Worth’s Impala, which Rice dedicates it to venue owner Kelly Parker. Side-B is “Track 13″, performed live in San Diego, 1978. On the front cover is Lee Harvey Oswald’s handprint showing the wolfsangel, which according to the ADF (Anti-Defamation League) is a hate symbol used by the Aryan Nation.
All 300 copies of this pressed on red vinyl, our favorite.
