... we were in the middle of marathoning Secret Passages because it turns out one of the housemates had somehow never seen it, and cryptography housemate taped up the windows and webcams and got out a ton of paper and his old textbooks out and we were all sat on the floor in blankets with a bowl of nuts and those little salted fall-edition leaf-candies and we’d been pausing it a lot to try to crack everything, but only the things the new person points out so that we don’t accidentally spoil them, and makeup-artist friend put a temporary tattoo of one of the code-keys we figured out on my arm, and it was so much fun. but then downStream stopped working and we had another two episodes buffered enough to play

but then we kind of just had to grind to a halt, nobody has it already downloaded or anything
