OFF SEASON - Time to make gains, and improve. PRE-PREP PHASE is basically the off season. The time, in which you work on the physique to make gains, for the next year. 🥘 Calories should come up, systematically. 💪🏻 Training stays consistent, 3-6x per week. 🏃🏻♀️ Cardio should come down, or be minimal. 🍭 Treats are allowed-however, I tend to encourage, balance/restraint even in the off-season. Binge eating, your way into 20lbs, is hard - hard on the mind, not to mention the metabolism, as the body is primed, for muscle gain, post show, however, if you over do it, it is primed for fat storage, as well. Bodyweight - around 10% over stage weight is a good guideline. Taniya, my bikini & fitness model competitor is making some great gains, over this past season. She competed back in October, and here we are mid-Dec - no big blowup in bodyweight, eating a variety of good quality food, training consistently, and minimal cardio. She is well under her 10% increase in bodyweight over stage weight, giving us lots of room to play. Be mindful, in the off-season, and your body will reward, you with better gains, and an even better physique, the next time you decide to step on stage. #proknows #onlinecoach #beenthere #mindset #lifestyle #fitnessmodel #thoughtfultuesday #ufeevents #bikiniprep #bikinilifestyle #leangirl #makinggains #stageprep #contestprep #preprep #contestprepcourse (at Toronto C•A•N•A•D•A) https://www.instagram.com/p/B5qOGJbHU4g/?igshid=1a61gp2qv3gd1
