I'm gonna say Zelo/J-Hope bc I've been spiralling and I'm not sorry. They actually are good friends, so it's not totally unjustified, but there is literally ONE story about them on AO3 so I am clearly in a minority here? I - I am going to try to up that fic count eventually but ummmmmm research is hard.

19. My favourite character headcanon 

Oh god why would you ask this? Okay this is just some dumb nonsense I was talking to @flywithturtles about, but do you remember that time Ravi and J-Hope had a coffee and a studio date together, and everyone was like AWWW FRIENDS, and then absolutely nothing further eventuated from it? 

I think Jin and Ken set them up, congratulating themselves on being great friend matchmakers, and were super disappointed when NO SPARKS FLEW.

Directly contradicting this but also a fun headcanon to think about - maybe Ravi and J-Hope are actually super secret bfs who are really great at keeping their relationship on the dl.

I like carrot cake and fruit cake. I’ve also enjoyed orange cake, a spot of boozy trifle, and the occasional mud cake.

Most cakes that other people get into are too rich and goopy for me, though. I can’t deal with so much icing!!!

1. What’s the most depressing movie you’ve ever watched?

I’m not sure whether to say any of the many depressing holocaust films I’ve seen, or the parts I saw of The Piano Teacher, which was the first thing I ever saw Isabelle Huppert in, which has a brutal rape scene and is super unpleasant.

3. An actor/actress you’ve seen in more than 8 movies? Name the movies.

Probably someome like Tom Hanks, who has been in everything. I've seen Big, A League of Their Own, Sleepless in Seattle, Philadelphia, Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, all the Toy Story movies if they count, That Thing You Do!, Saving Private Ryan, You've Got Mail, The Green Mile, Cast Away, and Road to Perdition. You couldn’t go two steps without tripping into a Tom Hanks movie in the 90s but now I don’t think I’ve seen one in years.

9. The most aesthetically pleasing movie you’ve ever watched? 

idk, maybe one of the Busby Berkeley films? I remember Gold Diggers of 1933 being pretty.

The other thought I had was: what if the teaser sits nestled inside Fake Love? The force with which JK is propelled towards the magic shop in the teaser reminds me of the way he pushes through into the collapsing corridor in Fake Love; and we see that door appearing from the waterfall, maybe that's the way in top the magic shop? I need to watch the mv again...

I thought about that too - however he runs in right after Taehyung leaves, which suggests they all go in after each other and would lump the Magic Shop sequence at the start or end. Note when they make their exchanges, they’re dressed as per their dance from the atrium, not from inside their rooms. After he takes the key, Jungkook doesn’t go back to the atrium, meaning the group doesn’t assemble again. Instead he goes through the door to the destroyed room which COULD be Jin’s room, and COULD be Taehyung’s room in Singularity; except this this time Jungkook sees it from inside rather than outside, as he does at the start of Fake Love. Tl;dr maybe but I lean towards no? Tell me more tho if you see something else!!

As in, it seems to be as frustratingly bad as it ever was, rather than the new and terrible level of unusable badness.

   Lol Laura, I don’t know anything about your hockey children but thanks to your posts I have learned to recognise Austin Matthews as ‘the one who looks like Spencer’. I’m glad to know it’s not just me!!!

4) The first name I thought of was Elizabeth for my fake name, mostly because of Pride & Prejuidice. I’m actually really bad at remembering characters’ names, no matter how much I like them. For fake name reasons, Elizabeth works because it flows super well and is not that uncommon and the best thing about the fake name is not standing out.

29) Favorite female protag is tough because I have a lot that I love and it’s hard to narrow it down. So, I’m going to talk about several: the most recent female protagonist that stuck out for me was Sophia Tims from The Glass Sentence, a middle grade/ya novel set in a fantastic world where regions of the world are existing in different time eras, like some are in the future, others are in the middle ages, others are in the Industrial/Steam age and there are explorers who travel to different areas. Keeping time is so important in this world. So Sophia is the child of two prominent explorers who are missing and she lives with her uncle who is a famous historian/professor. What I love about Sophia was her intelligence, kindness, her ability to express conflicted feelings, and how much of her age she felt. She’s approximately 13-14 and she felt like an intelligent girl of that age thrown into the chaos of her uncle going missing and she uses her wits to navigate the world and weighs her own morals to achieve a goal that she wants. I rec this book as well.

My favorite female protag from ‘classic’ literature is Jane Eyre because she is so internal and overcomes so much without really losing herself. I could leave or take Rochester, but I really like Jane’s reactions to him and how she examines her feelings and tries her best.

1) Book sales! My library had books for $0.25, $0.50 and I came out with a bag of books and only spent $3. I love buying books. I love sales. It was a combo of my favorite things.

2) Wimbledon! So happy for both of the winners, even if some of my faves did not go as far as planned. (Pour one out for my dropping Garbine two weeks ago in Racket Rally!)

3) My wireless mouse. It is probably one of the cheapest things I’ve bought but I love this thing so much. Cheers to playing my games on my television while chilling in my recliner. ~It’s the little things in life~

4) Met expectations/Exceeding expectations - I’ve consumed so much media in life that I’ve just started expecting less at times to fend off disappointment but sometimes things are as good as I hoped and sometimes even better. Latest examples: Mad Max: Fury Road (exceeded), 7 days in Hell (met expectations)

5) Driving down the road with minimal traffic, not too little where it’s almost creepy, but not so cluttered where I can hardly leave space between me and the car ahead without someone jumping in front. 

Gonna tag this to the last 5 but no pressure :)
