Sony will allow the PlayStation 5 to make use of expanded SSD storage from this summer, according to a report in Bloomberg. The functionality is said to be coming in a firmware update that will activate the PS5’s M.2 expansion slot, which is currently disabled. Sony told The Verge ahead of the PS5 launch that the feature was “reserved for a future update.” Bloomberg’s sources say that the firmware update will allow for an increase in the speed of the PS5’s cooling fans. Lebih dari 4.000 Judul Game PS4 Dapat Dimainkan di Console PS5

Jakarta - Sony baru saja menginformasikan spesifikasi lengkap dan kekuatan konsol gim teranyar mereka, yaitu PlayStation 5 (PS5).

Pada pas livestream presentasi tersebut, Sony sempat menyinggung perihal tidak benar satu fitur di PS5 yang terlalu mungkin gamer bermain gim berasal dari konsol sebelumnya, lebih-lebih PS4.

Mereka menyebutkan, beberapa besar gim PS4 yang ada pas ini bakal kompatibel bersama PS5 disaat diluncurkan musim liburan th. ini, sebagaimana dikutip berasal dari Gamerant, Senin (23/3/2020).

Mengingat deretan gim PS4 yang ada kala ini jumlahnya lebih dari 4.000 judul, bukan hal yang tak mungkin ratusan bakal sanggup langsung dimainkan di konsol PS5.

Dengan harga komponen dan ongkos mengolah yang lebih mahal, hal ini tentu saja dapat memaksa Sony ke keadaan sulit sehingga mampu berkompetisi bersama dengan Xbox Series X.

Jurnalis Wall Street Journal, Takashi Mochizuki, sempat melaporkan, Sony bakal menentukan harga konsol secara internal pada Februari.

Namun untuk pas ini, perusahaan bakal tunggu lebih dari satu bulan mendatang untuk melihat apakah suasana kelangkaan komponen dapat berubah, dan berapa harga Xbox Series X.

Adapun komponen PS5 yang langka, juga pasokan memori DRAM dan NAND. Ini karena, keduanya tengah diminati oleh pembuat smartphone.
