You Have to See Self-Described Germaphobe Dana Loesch Flip Over the Latest Ebola News
It is generally accepted that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have made one questionable decision after another in handling the Ebola outbreak, whether it is not shutting down travel from West Africa or telling a feverish nurse who treated an Ebola-positive patient that she could get on a plane with 132 other people.
On Thursday, self-described germaphobe Dana Loesch had simply had enough, and by the end of segment was screaming that she felt like she was in “crazy town.”
“What do we get out of not being overly cautious about this?” she demanded. “Seriously, what do we get out of tempering our concern about … a disease that makes you vomit blood until you are dead?! … An abundance of caution is absolutely called for!”

Loesch highlighted the sequence of events that led to Amber Vinson — one of the roughly 70 healthcare workers involved in the care of Thomas Eric Duncan, the Ebola patient who flew over from West Africa — boarding a commercial plane with 132 other passengers. She grew absolutely incensed after noting that Vinson called the CDC to report that she was feverish, but CDC officials said she could take the flight anyway.
“Stop it! People, stop trying to prove to everyone that there is no reason to panic,” Loesch yelled. “There IS a reason to panic! At some point the whole ‘calm down crew’ … [needs] to stop telling everybody to calm down and start agreeing that maybe, just maybe, there might be a reason to be upset and concerned, just possibly!”
“Stop taking risks with everyone else’s lives to prove that you’re too tough for Ebola. Ebola will always win!” she continued. “AHHH!” I feel like I’m in crazy-town!”
Words can’t describe Loesch’s level of animation in this segment — it really must be watched.
