Upcycle Ethics: Project Repat vs. Indie Whip
The title of the article is quite a pun, but the Boston Herald’s Donna Goodison reported last week: Making T-shirts into quilts leads to suit.
A Boston company [Project Repat] that turns people’s T-shirts into quilts is suing its former video production firm [Indie Whip LLC] in U.S. District Court, claiming it used its trade secrets to start a rival T-shirt quilt maker.
If Project Repat’s claims are true - it’s lousy. And even if they’re not entirely accurate, it’s still pretty lousy.
