Which products? I've heard good things about them but haven't gone and looked the brand up yet :o
I’ve heard so many good things, too, and after the last review I heard on some specific products + finally getting my paycheck (lol), I decided to try some!! I ordered Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2%, the “Buffet,” the 100% cold-pressed rose hip seed oil, and Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%.
I wanted to try the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% because I heard that it’s good for acne, but it’s out of stock so I might try that another time depending on how the four that I ordered work out! Their website (like the actual The Ordinary website on DECIEM’s site) has a chart listing pretty succinctly suggested time to use and what you shouldn’t mix certain products with. But they also have more detailed information on each product. And there are so many reviews on youtube n stuff.
I got the lactic acid because I’ve been interested in trying lactic acid, but figured I would rather try the lower concentration (they also have a 10% one) lol. The Buffet I kind of got just for fun because I don’t completely understand it but figured that that’s the cheapest a ~reduce the signs of aging~ product would ever be so why not try it lol.
They’ve got a lot of different Vitamin C options and I wanted to try one of them out. I initially wanted one of the lower concentrations/different formulations, but the specific one I wanted to try was sold out and of the options that were left I just decided on this one based on price lol. The main complaint I’ve seen about it is that since it’s a suspension it’s gritty and not really like a lotion, but I think I can deal with the texture thing.
I’ll let you know if any of it seems to be having any effect (or not) !
as long as my skin doesn’t have a really bad reaction to anything i will be happy lol, but I’m hoping there’ll be lots of skin positives to come out of this experiment
