With rescuecon having a second convention this weekend, and seeing this repeatedly during Comic-Con seasons, I think it’s important to get this off my chest

People spend hard earned money on their photo ops. Don’t be the person who takes the photo from the original owner and crops said person out ( without permission from the owner, mind you.)

Especially not to use as a profile picture or as part of some ‘fantasy’ you have in mind for the characters/actors. As someone who has had their photo stolen from them and has been cropped out of one in the past, it stings and is a really uncomfortable feeling. I see this with a lot of fandoms, and this isn’t a direct call out, moreso just a ‘hey, not cool.’
