Ramen resippy??? please??
o7
original version as written my variations in brackets, this makes four bowls
ingredience:
- one chicken breast
- chicken broth (5 cups)
- shiitake mushrooms [so . these are really expensive . you can use cheaper ones its fine]
- bok choy (two heads of the small kind one of the big kind)
- snow peas (one cup) [i accidentally did two and it was great that way]
- ramen noodles
- ginger [about a piece the size of your thumb . i used a piece slightly larger than my thumb and i have small hands] (recipe says 1.5 inch)
- garlic
steps:
1. for the love of all that is holy start by prepping all your vegetables . peel the garlic and ginger . chop up the ginger (garlic doesnt need to be chopped it dissolves when boiled) . wash your leaves and peas and mushrooms
2. now slice the chicken into strips across the grain
3. original recipe: pour the broth into a pot, add the garlic ginger and chicken, and boil until the chicken is cooked . [my version: cook the chicken separately with Powdered garlic and ginger, fried in whatever oil you want . i usually use olive oil]
4. once the chicken is cooked remove from pot [set aside] and add the mushrooms [+ ginger and garlic] to the broth and boil until they start to become soft
5. add the noodles, and once they’re almost cooked
6. add the greens, boil for about five minutes to let them soften Just A Bit [if you like your veg softer in soup you can reverse steps 5 and 6]
7. bowl [+ add the chicken to the bowl! use about a quarter of the chicken per bowl] and top it with green onions if you feel like being fancy . EAT!
hello mutuals . chili
ingredients:
- 1lb ground meat
- one can black beans
- one can pinto peans
- one can dark kidney beans
- 20 oz tomato (i found ten oz cans of diced tomato with chili so i used two of those) (i usually use a can of plain tomato sauce)
- salsa in whatever quantity you desire
- one packet of premade chili spice mix or whatever spices you want i guess
steps:
1. get out a large pot that can contain All That
2. cook the ground meat fully, add half of your spice and mix thoroughly
3. drain (and rinse if youd like) the beans, then add to the pot
4. add the tomatoes
5. add the rest of your spices, mix thoroughly (*i typically add garlic here but you dont need to)
6. add the salsa
7. boil some of the liquid off until it gets to a stew like consistency that you are happy with
eating it:
- add on top: sour cream, diced red onion, more salsa, shredded cheese
- add on the side: brown rice

soup time .
- 3lbs onions (2 shallots, 5 yellow onions, 1 white onion, 2 red onions) (or just pick one and do 3lbs of that) - Salt - 2 quarts beef stock - 1 tbsp flour - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper - 1 cup dry white wine (pinot grigio works well) - 6 tbsp red wine (cheap cooking wine, do not splurge)
1. Caramelize onions in a large pot 2. Add beef stock a separate pot, warm but do not boil 3. Add the wine to the onions and boil. 4. Add flour, let thicken 5. Add the broth, salt, and pepper to the wine and onions 6. Boil for ten minutes
- Sliced thick crusted bread (baguettes work well) - Thinly sliced or grated hard white cheese (gruyere works best)
7. Portion the soup into oven safe bowls or dedicated soup crocks, add two slices of bread and enough cheese to cover the bread 8. Broil until the cheese begins to melt
