S.H.I.E.L.D. provided me with an apartment way back when that I barely used, so that’s where I’m currently staying. The only people who really know where it is are people I trust to.

Rewriting the entire story makes no sense. You can’t just jump around timelines and ruin things because how do you know it won’t cause something even worse to happen? You don’t get to pick and choose what aspects of timelines you get to keep and which you don’t. It’s messing with things nobody really knows the outcome of.
Going back home would mean death for me, which I feel okay with. There was a reason why I did what I did, and I’d do it again for my family in a heartbeat. That seems like the safest option we currently have.

Right now? Lay low, gather intel, and figure out who knows what. Part of me wants to let certain higher ups know that Hydra is among S.H.I.E.L.D. but who knows what calling them out early could do. So we play the waiting game...
