The population of Utah is somewhere around 3 million. Close to 2/3rd of that population live in and surrounding the Wasatch Range. In the world view it's is not large, it's almost tiny, but somehow it can still make me feel small. @whitemichaelm keeping things in perspective this morning. "You're the king of underestimating!" My wife exclaimed yesterday halfway through our weekly mountain romp. I have this habit of trying to make loops in the local canyons. Sometimes there are trails, most times there are none. I proposed a loop that neither of us had done and guessed it would be around 6 miles and take two to three hours. Turns out it was closer to 13 miles and took 4! Luckily @jacki_arevalo was smiling the whole time and had packed plenty of water and treats...
