All Disasters Have an Upside by kholran

Zhang Rishan, Crown Prince of the Zhang Kingdom, and Commander of the Imperial Guard, is given an ultimatum by his father, the Emperor: Announce his engagement no later than the Dragon Boat Festival. The only problem is, there's no one in his life he particularly wants to marry. To assist Prince Rishan in making his choice, a group of suitable candidates is assembled, and invited to the palace to try and win his affection. As he fears, though, most of them are more interested in the promise of wealth and status than they are in him. Except for one.

Threatened by his greedy, opportunistic parents, who underhandedly altered his documentation, Liu Sang finds himself accepted as one of Prince Rishan's suitors. Dressing and behaving like a woman doesn't bother him, but he knows that intentionally deceiving a member of the royal family carries a heavy penalty. If anyone finds out who he really is, he could find himself imprisoned- or worse. He decides the best thing to do is to keep to himself and keep his head down. But the longer he stays, the harder it is to deny his growing feelings for Prince Rishan.

And, as it turns out, his conflicted emotions might be the least of his worries.
