I always knew I wanted to be a mom. I was cocky, I thought I'd be so good at it that it would be easy. I was too dumb to be scared. Thank God I had my mom, Ben's mom and the grandmas to get us through. I wanted a big family. I never day dreamed about a wedding the way I've heard that some people do. I did dream of the noisy house and the chaotic bliss of a house full of kids though. Ofcourse it isn't the way I thought it'd be, it's so much better. The hard days aren't hard days, they are moments that we learn and get stronger with. Thet good days are awesome. My kids are not babies anymore, not even 1 of them you believe that? They are people with these vibrant and charismatic personalities. Each 1 of them shines and stuns me in their own way. I'm so grateful I am so sleepily happy and amazed at life. How did I get so lucky? If I had to tell a person what parenting is I'd say, it's a learning experience; for adults. The kids come along to teach you how to love, learn and grow. If you're lucky, you teach them a thing or 2 along the way... but you spend most of your time learning from the kids and the grandparents. ...... Happy mothers day yall, even if you don't have someone to say it to you right now, I know that's the way it is for some moms and it breaks my heart. Please know that you are strong, beautiful and loved.
