At first when I learned we'd be working in water essentially infested with alligators I was a bit hesitant and I thought for good reason, right? But what I soon figured out was that these prehistoric reptiles, like most animals, weren't all that interested in what were doing unless we encroached on their territory or surprised them like I did here which resulted in a rapid sequence of blurry photographs while scurrying away to safety on to solid ground. || w/@rockroadcreative and @ducksunlimitedinc || #gatorbait #southcarolina #rockroadcreative #conservation (at Annandale Plantation)

Nowhere has made me feel the way the South Carolinian wetlands did these past several days. It was a real-life dreamland; alligators, Dolphins, shore birds, raptors, Bobcats, migratory birds -- just to name a few -- all interacting in perfect harmony.
