...But a wayward glance catching Jade's shrunken pupils at the words on the screen (and his hearty agreement) had him sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck...

"uh. i-i mean... ah."

But... there was little he could think of to reverse the gruesome picture. (He... should be more careful about what he said around her...)

Kinito tapped at the ruined concrete border of the fountain happily, seemingly oblivious to all but the current task at hand.

"Of course, Ronnie! We'll definitely need your help with this upcoming task - we'll need you to look veeeery carefully for a special picture!"

we all did it we all winned the puzzles!!!! i like puzzles that was fun!! is the green jelly lady here now is she ok or is she tired and sad like sam is? from rona.

Kinito shifts uncomfortably...

we won the game!!! how did orange man hide in there? is he ok? he looks sleepy. you cant put him on the bed becose he is too big for yor hands so you should put a blanket on him and give him a pillo. from rona

Kinito snapped out of his trance somewhat at the suggestion.

"U-uhm, right, yes... Good idea Rona, that... is indeed in order, um..."

He hesitated to grab the raggedy duvet thrown haphazardly on the bed, but pushed ahead anyways, giving it a thorough shaking to at least remove the buildup of dust and dirt. He held it out towards the other timidly, who took it even more hesitantly.

"This is all that is here, um... S-sorry it's so filthy..."

"it's fine... i need to get used to it, anyhow. this is my house, after all."

"H-how did you know that?!"

Sam sighed deeply, shuffling to his feet. He sat on the edge of the bed, sinking down a bit - the mattress was surprisingly comfortable; it only looked bad.

"...i know a lot of things."

The man may have towered over Kinito, but in that moment, hunched and swaddled in that duvet, he looked so small.

grown ups say a lot of things that are danger but are not danger just a bit scary the fist time. like climing up a tree or going to play by youself in the woods near my house or reading the scary books meant for the big kids. if the bad bear has done bad things sombody has to make him stop or he will keep doing bad things. mean people never stop being mean unless sombody makes them stop and I do not let mean people hurt my friends becose it makes me mad. but I wont kick him becose I got in trouble the last time I kicked a bully aunty said I gotta stop bullys without being a bully too and hes stuck in the compoter and if I kicked the computer I might break it and get in trouble for that too from rona.

Sam stared at the message shocked, to say the least. It was the most Rona had ever written in one message... their words had set them off, clearly.

"rona, i... i get where you're coming from. and normally, i'd agree with your aunty. but... this bear... sonny. we have to stop him for good. and that means doing worse than just kicking him. which is why this is not just scary, but really, really dangerous. he's going to want to fight back."

Kinito was quiet, glancing between the screen and his fingers.

"I'll try to find ways you can help, Rona..."

"Kinito!?"

The axolotl turned away from Sam indignantly, crossing his arms. He knew that was coming.

"She clearly wants to help, and I doubt there's anything we can do to stop her. Since she's already doing her own thing regardless, we might as well include her."

"she's just a kid...!"

"So is Leo."

"that's... that's different. he's not-"

"She's already at risk regardless, isn't she, Sam? And she's made it this far. I think she deserves more credit..."

Sam was quiet. He hated everything about this, but hated arguing even more...

"fine. whatever. but i'm not going to assign her anything. i don't want to be the one responsible if anything happens."

"That's... fine."

Kinito looked downwards, a bit doubtful.

um. i dunno. he says he doest want friends. i think. so i dunno. i dont know why bullys are bullys. i wish i had a tree house like that. i like climbing trees and it would be cool to have a house up there it would be like a castle tower. where is orange man?

Well, this was beginning to sound like a challenge! If he ever came across this bear, Kinito could surely put his friend-making abilities to the test.

"He might say he doesn't want friends, but deep down, he's probably just afraid to make some! I bet he'll stop being so scary once he realizes no one wants to do him wrong!"

"I... I'm not sure. I am quite anxious to find him as well... It... sounds like there might be clues in the Web World, though? Somehow..."

After making his way down the ladder of his house and trudging his way through the sand back to the main area, Kinito looks around at every familiar grain, branch and pebble, stanched rather indecisively. He's... not exactly sure where to begin. He's seen everything a thousand times, already...!

"U-um... Where do you all want to look, first...?"

[Rhett had resided himself to just trying to listen to whatever everyone else was talking about. This bird was way too out of his depth on all this, and frankly he was far too worried to think of what to say. He was never good with conversation afterall, so trying to hold one when his fight or flight was going nuts was... not very easy at all.]

[He remained silent until he heard a thick, monstrous growl from his speakers- A predatory noise that would send any fowl up the walls and for the hills. It sounded like a cougar or... or some sort of canine. It was hard to make out. Usually the bigger predators were moreso seen in the bovine herds, and he had only encountered a wild cat once- he was just lucky he had been helping out Nova's herd when he had heard that awful noise...]

[And instinctively, he crowed at an invisible threat.]

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?

Sam seemed to be ignoring communications as he furiously tapped away at some dialog boxes, muttering feverishly.

"ohhh, i just had to speak of the devil..."

"i mean christ almighty just how the hell did he sneak up on me like that???"

"i thought i'd have more time, there's no fuckin way, no fucking-"

He briefly looked up, finally noticing the concerned messages with a wild look in his eyes.

"that indeed is mr. big ugly himself, who is oh-so graciously deciding to bless us with his glorious presence..."

He paused briefly to glance around and over the tops of the dialog boxes anxiously, but didn't seem to see anything immediately concerning...

...That is, until another bone-rattling roar erupted from seemingly everywhere at once, causing Sam to flinch hard.

"A-as for safety..."

"i'm... working on it..."

[Rona has had no reason to talk to the bully until now. She switches the feeds before anyone can say anything]

hi mr bear. its rona. that is a noce forrest how did you get there. are you going to be nice now becose i think kinito would like to be friends with you but you should not if you are only going to be pretend friends and then be mean. thats happened before to jerry at playschool.

Sonny curled his lip at the message, sending a chilling glare over his shoulder as he padded through the woods. He had long since figured out where he stood on *this* user.

"Go away. I don't like children."

His nose twitched as he sniffed the air... Seems like something had mildly piqued his interest.

yep they were on the compoter. the bear man was a bully to orange man. and then was a bully to me and all the other people. i tried to tell him to stop but he kept being mean. he doesnt want friends. can we be friends? you seem nice. oh its rona hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. i like reading. im very good at it.

Kinito almost didn't know where to start...! Although he was itching for elaboration, he had surmised that Rona was quite young and he didn't want to overwhelm them with a barrage of questions.

"Of course we can be friends, Rona! I'm sorry Mr. Bear was so mean to you all. I'll do my best to make sure we don't run into him. Did he happen to tell you his name?"
