First off, my availability: I work the graveyard shift at a job with a fair amount of downtime. While I live in central/ GMT-5 time zone, I’m most active at night. I’ll usually not be here on Saturday evenings from 6 - 12, as that’s when the dnd game is going on.
I’m 28, so I’m not keen on writing anything with minors. Nothing against you younger folk! I’m sure some of y’all write better than I do.
Multis – I don’t generally follow multi-blogs because I get overwhelmed and anxious trying to figure out who I want to write with. Or there’s a lot of options, I’m familiar with none of them, and I don’t know where to begin and to be honest probably wont be looking to read everything if I already don’t know what up. If you’re a Multi-blog and you follow me, by all means! This is where I’ll bend my rule about mutuals only. If you have a muse in mind for mine, hit me up.
I tend to give people a few days/a week but if not followed back I assume lack of interest and will unfollow. That said I also have a shit memory for that sometimes. I PROMISE you I am never going to follow/unfollow repeatedly to fish for a follow back. I just forget. (Also, because this website is held together with gum and a shoestring, unfollow/refollow might happen while I’m trying to send an ask from the dash or on mobile, forgive me)
I prefer multi-para (though short quick fun things are fine too! Just not my main interest) and may not always use icons. I also like to have something of a plot in mind! I use the <small> font, but that’s about it. Aside from abuse of em dashes.
Don’t ever feel the need to match lengths! Write only what feels right. So long as you don’t give me two sentences in response to a multi-para (or something to that effect) all is well! I’m never going to judge. And lets be honest, replies can and will fluctuate! It’s natural. Don’t feel you have to force yourself.
ALSO. If I write something and I got something wrong, or you need more to work with *please* let me know and I will happily edit. This is supposed to be a fun hobby, and I am more than willing to work to make that happen!
I love shipping. I adore exploring romantic relationships! Smut I have a hard time writing with a partner though. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I’m a fade to black kind of gal. Can get up to quite a bit before then of course!
Maybe it’s because I run/play Dungeons and Dragons weekly, but if there’s something beyond minor in your reply (such as being handed something innocuous, or a scene change) just ask me about it and I’ll okay it. A little leeway is needed sometimes.
That said, don’t do it otherwise. And ESPECIALLY do not try and magic away something like a disability. I’ll bite you.
