Lydia closed down her laptop and changed out of the pajamas she had been lounging around the house in for a good chunk of the day, changing into a pair of shorts and a tank top to play basketball in. She'd been at the rivercourt a good portion of the summer, playing with either her friends, her family, or by herself. Her least favorite parts of the year were anytime that Basketball wasn't in, but she always found time to make it down to the rivercourt.
Grabbing her backpack and dumping the new school supplies her mother had purchased onto the kitchen counter, she instead placed a Tupperware container of her cake balls in it. She normally didn't share most of her baked goods with anyone who wasn't family, but she'd make an exception tonight. It was only fair considering she was about to wipe the floor with him. She slung the bag over her shoulders and before she started to jog down to the rivercourt she texted Ryan, 'bring a ball'.
