I think it's the very first time I ask for something in tumblr, and I'm not even sure if someone would read this message, but I would appreciate if you took a little time to read this and help if you think they should stop this.
I live in the Canary Islands, sometimes I tell people from abroad that I live there and many of them don't even know where they are. They are seven little islands which are unique in this world, they're all so close, and yet every single one of them is different, that's one of their beauties. Also there are many endemic species here, so if something happened to these islands, it would cause them to extinguish. And now we're in risk to lose all we got because of the oil companies and their poor care about environment.

They're collecting signs to try to make the oil drilling stop here, if something goes wrong it will destroy all our ecosystem, and probably it will destroy any life in these islands too, many fishes and marine mammals would die. Also it would destroy the life of people who lives here, because we wouldn't be able to go fishing and like all our drinking water we get it from the sea.
Who knows if I would have to leave this place if something went wrong, no tourists would come here, we wouldn't be able to go fishing, the beaches would be destroyed too, we wouldn't be able to get drinking water either, everything I know would be destroyed if something went wrong.
