Even though I could never put a price on saving my most loyal friend, Toby’s vet bills are so high that I have been reduced to basically begging for help. I hate handouts, but I would be forever grateful for any amount of donation. Even well wishes are welcome. During this horrible time, knowing that there are people who care enough to think of Toby is heartwarming. Thank you, everyone, for reading this long post.

TT will stay for a while with amnesia. His crisis of amnesia makes him forget everything and everyone since the night of the accident. He only remembers his past and his family, as he was before. He has crises like that sometimes. When he discovers the reality again, his world collapses and he suffers, but over time he forgets his own past again and his mind returns to his "normal".

Soon he'll be fine ... We hope so.

A Volunteer writes: "Tobie's family received him as a gift when he was only 3 months old. They surrendered him 3 days go at 11 years of age. Tobie had a conflict with their other resident dog so it was time for him to hit the bricks. He is very fearful - understandable given such a drastic change in circumstance - and is therefore available only via an ACC-approved rescue group. "Tonight Tobie took treats gently from my hand and while not quite brave enough to go for a walk he came to the front of his kennel when I opened the door and gave me kisses. At one point he stared at me with that wide-eyed look of despair and disbelief and began to whimper. And my heart broke open. This is Toby #savetoby #a1662832 and Jody #savejody #a1662834 they are both 1year and 5months old, and they are both terrier mixes. They are the cutest thjngs together. I would hope they find a home together so they wouldnt have to be split up. Please five these two a chance they need your help. They are both located at Miami Dade Animal Services #mdas last seen towards the back of west wing, as of sunday.
