So most of my sadness yesterday was washed away after that shower. I got some awesome new leave in conditioning cream and it makes me smell so nice and makes me happy. I think there are a few things in life I should never go cheap on: juice, bread, lotions, hair products. Okay so maybe not never, but I always feel better with the nicer stuff. The chemicals in the cheap stuff usually give me a head ache from the perfumes of it.
Today was good though. I left the house before 8, and got to class early to read. We spent the morning doing mind maps and having conversations with pictures. Then we had crits which went really well. I am really proud of everyone in my class. More than 90% have seriously improved since last semester. My crit was pretty good, could have been better, but I was happy with it. Though I cut myself on my wire.
I also got most of my (and Kate’s) supplies for print making tomorrow except for the plexiglass, which I have to see if I have any of. Because I was going to buy it at school but they were out of the size I wanted and the next size up was 3 times as much. So that just wasn’t happening. I'm going to see if I have any in my living room, if not I’ll check the scrap bin at school. But I am not paying $8 for plexi. It’s just not going to happen.
Our teacher let us go early so I finished fixing the sculptures for the library that were damaged in transit and then went to my next class with Sarah. It was nice. Some people really talk to much, but that’s fine. The whole class sighed a couple times which was priceless.
I'm going to rest now. I'm still feeling a bit out of sorts with this crazy rain and just not being able to sleep last night. But I have big plans for tomorrow, so I have to sleep.
