Ok so I discovered Me and My Shadow for like 2 days ago and I am pissed that it got canceled ! Because it got such a good concept and I already like Daniel and ShadowDan.

And at this point I see many amazing fanart of the fans and clips of Me and My Shadow. And one fanart, mostly a comic, make me thinking about something, about Daniel and Heidi relasonship.

Heidi is supposed to be the love interest of Daniel. From what I understand she is also a photographer. I don't know what her personality could be like, but from what I see on the artwork were Heidi were in, she look like the type of energic person. She kinda like Shadow Dan, for the energic and adventurous part but seem more calm and responsible like Daniel, she is like a balance y'know ?

And so yeah, I was thinking about they're relasonship and how they meet.

- At first, I was thinking about them being childhood friends (she could have been one of the rare friend Daniel got) and with time, Daniel would have develop feeling toward her (or he got a crush on her since the first time they meet, like a childhood crush). - And then, I was thinking about them being neighbour. I think both of them live in the same apartement building. Daniel live in the number 5 and Heidi idk, number 6 ? Maybe they meet by one of them who arrives at the apartement building, and the other who was passing by see that they're new and proposes help for moving the boxes (I can totally see Daniel stutter as he ask if Heidi need help). So after that they became friends and Daniel could have developp feelings toward her with time OR he would directly have a crush when he saw her for the first time, like love at the first sight.

And after thinking about that, I was like, what about Heidi ? Does she have feelings for Daniel ? And like for him, they're are a 2 possibilities towards her.

Possibility 1 : She could have a crush of the first sight for him, but she would be good at hiding it. And when Daniel invite her for coffee (he would be very nervous and stutter a lot by doing that) she would accept immediatly but think that he only invite her because he considers her like a friend, and why was he so nervous ? Because his extremely shy and he got a lack of social communication. So yeah, she may be had a crush on him but she will be oblivious to his love interest toward her. So if they're was a Me and My Shadow movie, at the beginning of it Heidi would be 100% in love with Daniel.

Possibility 2 : She only saw him as a friend, maybe even as a best friend. But at one point, toward the event of the movie she would develop feelings toward him.

And after that I was like, what about ShadowDan ? Did he has a crush on Heidi ?

I like to think that no, ShadowDan doesn't have a crush on Heidi but only on ShadowHeidi. Maybe ShadowDan his the boyfriend of ShadowHeidi and when the movie begin, they're already a couple since a few years. And since his in couple, ShadowDan would totally giving advice to Daniel about romantic stuff he could do for Heidi.

Daniel : Heidi doesn't love me  :(

ShadowDan : Of course she love you !

Daniel : How could you know ?

ShadowDan : My girlfriend told me !

Daniel : You're girlfriend ???

ShadowDan : Yeah, Heidi's shadow, my girlfriend, she told me that Heidi has a crush on you.

Daniel : WHAT

OR

ShadowDan is not in couple and he considers ShadowHeidi as a friend. But maybe ShadowHeidi is shyly in love with him ? Who knows ? Also, I personally like to think that ShadowDan would be terrible at giving Daniel love advice.

Thank you for reading this stuff ! It was kinda long ! It just, I was thinking about it for a few hours and I need to write it or post it somewhere, so I was like, what about Tumblr ?

hey! just wanted to say sorry you've been shadowbanned. it happened to my blog recently too, apparently most of the time it's just a random tumblr glitch. i wrote to the staff three times, i had to wait for about a week, then they answered me, said it was indeed just a mistake, apologised and unbanned me. it happened to people i know too, some had the issue resolved within days. hope they unban you soon! love your blog x

Yeah that’s what I’ve gathered. I’ve contacted them and now I’ll just have to wait 🤷‍♀️

what does it mean when you get shadowbanned? like what tumblr rights are taken away from u? :o

I can’t see my dms at all, I can’t comment on posts (including my own), when I like something u can’t see it, my posts don’t show up in tags, my blog don’t show up when you search for it, and hmm.. i guess that’s it? 🤔

There’s no real reason, just a glitch. I’ve let tumblr support know and now I’ll just have to wait. It can take up to a couple of weeks apparently. So yeah, keep checking in as my posts won’t turn up in the usual tags atm 🫠
