I am weak for a Dick with unrequited feelings for Bruce who is forced to accept he is absolutely attracted to men but can't have his first crush, leaving the Manor and running into Slade and being so happy to have an older man who wants him he falls for it and has to deal with the fact that even after he realizes just how bad of an idea that was Slade knows he had Dick once and therefore he can just keep trying until he has Dick again.

New Fic: “How Dick and Conner Became a Thing” Now Live
They were gone. Dawn, Hank, Donna, Rose, Kori, Rachel and Jason. They all left the Titans…well, the first four had. The latter trio needed to sort their own shit out, though Jason secretly told him why he was really leaving, believing Rose to be the mole leaking information to Slade.
Speaking of, Dick had just come back from a meeting with that bastard at Adeline's, and it hadn't gone at all like Dick had anticipated. He and the man were supposed to sit down and handle this like civil adults, but it left Dick dizzy and left a hole in his memory…and it wasn't supposed to be an overnight deal. He remembered conversing over drinks, though Dick thought he made the right decision by picking a glass of water over Scotch.
He supposed it was the wrong decision because he woke up in the guest room, clothes disheveled, sticky between the legs and not remembering how he got there. Slade came in and told him to pretty much "Fuck Off" before stating that Dick's punishment was to be alone for the rest of life. That if he didn't leave the Titans behind, Slade would come and kill every last one of them.
It didn't come off as intimidating as Slade had hoped, the man having thrown his clothes at him.
So, Dick did just that, having rushed back to the tower first thing in the morning, taking a shower and a Plan B, and packed his shit. His plane back to Detroit would be leaving tonight, but he wanted to be out of the Tower by Noon. He couldn't risk the team or their lives. They didn't deserve what Slade would bring down upon them because of his own fuck-ups.
Naturally, Gar was following him to and from, desperately pleading with Dick to stay, asking him what he was supposed to do about Krypto and the sleeping clone in the Infirmary.
