Fandom defibrillator? Fandom defibrillator. Is this a thing? I feel like this needs to be a thing in fandoms. For when fans go into a state of shock because of fanart, fanfic, etc.
This is entirely @roninreverie‘s fault btw.
Douxie, noticeably disheveled as he enters the room: Sorry I’m late, I was doing stuff.
Zoe, also disheveled and grinning smugly: I’m stuff.
noticed I've been rooming with mum at grandmothers place...for the last 20 years
okay so I finally had no self control and read that short explicit fic between sakharine and haddock and now I genuinely don't know what to do with myself

I feel like Dean seeks attachment, and he's always sought it in Sam. So for Dean to break his codependency, he needs to be rejected by the one person to whom he always directed he need for companionship. And through rejection, he'll be forced seek attachment elsewhere, and through other types of relationships. He started branching out in s8 (Benny, Charlie) before the trials, when he got sucked back into the role of helicopter parent. And now in s9 while he's coping with Sam's rejection, he's simultaneously seeing others finding happiness in romantic relationships.
