Na'aimi Lavellan and Solas for @dafuckedupshipsweek prompts "betrayal" and "last kiss"
Despite the details on the Inky armor, I'm pretty sure it'll be Solas that kills me (as usual)
I think my actual real Canon answer to how it plays out, is that like... Solas said something along the lines of "the consequences of having sex would make things much harder" and Na'aimi, a woman who does not have access to reliable birth control, was like yeah, that makes sense, now would absolutely be a bad time for a baby. Let's fuck in the Fade instead ;) so Tyrnan was conceived like.. some time between the Temple of Mythal and Crestwood.
Which makes him like, ~2ish? when Trespasser happens, and Na'aimi has very responsibly left Kieran to babysit him (presumably with Josie or someone overlooking them, or else Kieran has done this before, but adults get busy and this would be a pretty normal thing to expect a 13 year old to do to Teach Them Responsibility).
And like. She's going to tell Solas. She really is. She FULLY goes into this like, I'm gonna track down Solas, and I'm gonna tell him about our kid, and then I can be mad at him for not telling me Fade sex isn't reliable birth control when you have a Dreamer and an Anchor.
But then she realizes who he is. And he tells her what he's trying to do, and she just... stops. With the knowledge that he's Fen'Harel, she probably fully expects him to know that pregnancy was a risk, and to have not told her on purpose. Yeah, he said having a kid would complicate things, but he said a lot of things, and she's not thinking clearly right now, because she just realized Solas, the one person in the Inquisition she thought she could fully trust, was lying to her the entire time. And that's when she goes from "maybe I can convince him to come back and we can retired off to be co-Keepers" to "Fuck this, he needs to be stopped, I don't care what the cost is."
They're so divorced <3
