The next throwback story was less of a story and more of a world. The extent of the story was “a woman (not pictured) wants to learn magic from a heroic mage” and...yeah they’d go around the world seeing things as she learned o:
There were a TON of cool species that I made up for it, TOO many I’d almost say: It was hard to choose what to draw! I ended up going for Angels and Devils! Here’s a little excerpt about them:
Angels are doppelgangers that manifest themselves as reflections. Most people say that they are the “good” conscience, however that is not true. What angels represent and stand for above all else is the well-being of others. While that sounds good on paper, this causes them to continuously disregard their host and simply focus on what others are feeling or thinking. For this reason their huge fault is insensitivity, especially to their hosts and devils that may reside alongside them.
Devils are doppelgangers that manifest themselves as shadows. Most people say that they are the “bad” conscience, however that is not true. What devils represent and stand for above all else is the well-being of their host. While that sounds good on paper, this causes them to continuously disregard others and simply focus on how their host is feeling. For this reason their huge fault is selfishness towards anyone other than their host.
