In October 2016, annual conference of Center for Metropolitan Studies (CMS) will take place in Berlin. The conference is organized by the Internationalen Graduiertenkollegs Berlin-New York-Toronto (IGK) focusing on the theme: UrbanTOPIAS - Discussing the Challenges of Changing Cities. The panel examines the complex meaning and practice of Urban Hospitality and Hostility. Duygu Kaban is invited to give a speech about Spacedigger’s practice.
Anxious Borders Project | ID Festival 2016

In October 2016, ID-Festival 2016 (Israelische/Deutsche Kultur Festival) will take place in Berlin. The festival is combining an hybrid exhibition with the theme of “immigration”. As part of the festival, Spacedigger is invited to the exhibition with Anxious Borders Project, Soldiener Kiez in Radialsystem V.

In May 2015, Spacedigger was accepted to take part in TANDEM’s EU-Turkey connections initiative. Together with their Turkish partner organization Carbon Collective, their project Anxious Borders - futURban was chosen as one of 10 projects to be funded for a year of cultural collaboration.
The project has examined different neighborhoods. The results have been shared online (anxiousborders.org), as well as on the following exhibitions:
