Completing my Special Education Part 1 Additional Qualification has been an extremely enriching experience. As much as I love being a teacher, I love being a student as well. I definitely plan to further my professional growth in the subject area of special education in the future. I am looking to complete my Special Education - Part. 2 within the next year. I feel that it is important to have at the very least, a base knowledge about the learning needs of exceptional students, as children are being more effectively and formally diagnosed and require accommodations, modifications and alternate learning programs.
