Two distinctive threats plague the area of space known as the Triangle, which lies between the artificial borders of three governments. One, from this reality, involves a pirate ship known as the Serene Squall and her captain, Angel that has eluded Starfleet for over five decades, since the time of Pike’s Enterprise.
The second threat, from another dimension, has been around longer, since the time of Archer’s Enterprise, in another section of space known as the Delphic Expanse. Both of these threats also served as another captain’s white whale in the 2270s, Captain Bethany Blackthorne of the USS Yorktown.
These threats are now the challenge of the USS Titan, under the command of Captain Saavik, who has been tasked to solve the disappearances of Federation ships in the Triangle. Threats that she and her crew will discover are possibly interrelated, all the way back to Blackthorne’s Yorktown, in two different realms, spanning the lives of four crews and ships and a hundred and fifty years.
