A poem from me to me.

I wanna punch you in your teeth,

And right above your cheek bones, where it hurts the most,

Because that's what you had told me.

I hate what you've done to our body;

The disgusting slimy splatter you've left behind

Of broken promises and broken dreams.

Contracts you've written but forced me to sign.

Left me behind, and you didn't even close the door on your way out.

Now I look across at myself, I see the bruising marks on my face,

What in God's name have you done?

You've hurt me again, a pain I'm used to now.

But when you hurt the ones I once loved, you've taken a debt that I know,

I know you can't ever repay.
