I just can’t believe they built up such a beautiful, deep character who had so many things go wrong in her life, and when she finally had the opportunity to maybe get a happy ending, they killed her and used her entire existence as a plot device to give their straight white male character some sort of conflict because they were too scared to give him any real level of complexity
