what are some things you are inspired by… and what do you do while drawing/whats ur art process….. ur art is literally maybe the awesomest I have ever seen and you are so cool I’m just trying to figure out how to draw as #cool
i answered about inspo stuff here recently, but i do wanna show another artist i forgot to say im also very inspired by; Nancy Grossman !!! i adore her art alot and how raw it is
as for art process stuff. uh. UHHHHHHHHH. it kinda depends on who's fronting, we usually just like. raw dog that shit heavy, and if im feeling extra raw dog it with caffeine. i like don't do a whole lot of planning through sketches, since we usually can visualize what we want drawn out so my sketches are pretty clean / 1 and done, it's just a matter of like if i can actually get it drawn out + finished, and not dissociate thinking abt said art
i sometimes use the lasso tool to stretch certain parts more if i can't nail it the first time, since i really like exaggerated looking proportions, and for more bigger/completed pieces i usually have like. 20+ fucking layers so its easier to asset and color things to my liking especially for lineart or vise versa and just do everything on 1 to 2 layers, besides that tho i don't do much other technical things like color filters and such
i would and i should record things, but i forget to most of the time + my phone would probably kill itself with how long i take 💔
hey just wanted to say you genuinely have some of the coolest art I’ve ever seen, i love the way you use color and the way you draw proportions and shapes ^_^
