Do you take whump commissions? If so, could you share what your prices are? Your art is so good!!

This has been sitting in my inbox for about a month and I've received a second inquiry last night so I've sat down and slapped something passable together.

I do take normal art commissions! This includes reference sheets and other things that I can draw. But since this is an alt account I don't exactly advertise my main commissions page here.

If I don't respond to an inquiry after you gently remind me, I apologize. I have very few spoons these days and need to be picky about what I am spending them on.

I may be a freak but I like whump where a character is treated like a scared or silly little child. My traumatized brain just wants to see caretaking in any form. You know. AgeRe vibes. Generally that shit is top tier when it's purely wholesome coping. But also the idea of putting that into a sort of whumpy setup intrigues me. 👉👈

Oh I'm just a silly little fantasy victorian era man. Can I get you some tea? Tee hee! Look at my neat clothes. I am just a little guy. I'll go polish the silver! Hahaha! I should've died like 3 times because half of the available medicine was basically just getting wasted and/or has cocaine in it. But it's fantasy! Magic exists. Yay! We can ignore a lot of dumb stuff we don't like in this era because F A N T A S Y! FICTION!

I basically have plot armor! No dying of consumption for me! I get even more time off than historically accurate! Isn't that great?

Let's throw werewolves, vampires, and other shit at him. Then hit him with excessive amounts of comfort because it's cathartic. I want to put this poor little guy and all of his fictional friends into all sorts of horrible situations even if it makes no sense because it's fun and gives the whumperflies.

It's okay buddy. One of your best pals is a doctor/surgeon. :)

Sometimes I want to write super self indulgent whumpy shit but self consciousness about how people will think I'm a weird freak holds me back. Or that a friend or two who might follow this side blog will see it and think I'm a weirdo.

I've also wanted to draw whumpy shit lately but feel like I'd just be drawing the same kind of things over and over and that people will get tired of it. BUT mostly it's just that I've been busy and around people and I'm not comfortable drawing whumpy stuff when/where people around me might see it and be judgemental, even though none of my friends are judgemental.

How do you do it LMAO.

Thank you to the 3 people who have sent asks about my OCs??? I am glad you like them. It fuels my art and worldbuilding. Which will contribute to hopefully more eventual whumpy art. (Or just OC art in general.) It's been years since I've gotten to develop OCs like this. I feel like a happy little highschooler again LMAO.

I desperately want to put my old blorbo Dallan into Situations™ soon. Drawing is just a slow process, as much as I'd love to post something every other day. 👀
