The Great Indian IT company TCS #part1
my first it company which i am serving since three years of my life.No it is not a very good experience but i will tell everything about Tcs here.(The real face of TCS)
I was recruited in on campus recruitment by TCS in 2011.our 5th semester was over and it companies were about to visit for placement.A lot of buzz was going on tcs will come in December or January.one day we came to know that SIT placement manager has announced tcs will come by the last week of December.NSEC buddies were being prepared for this. c , c++ , core Java(If we say java they will ask from advance java also) data structure , operating system was the core discussion topic in masir tea stall. End of december but everyone was feeling the heat.
TCS was the only option left for NSEC 4th year students because Techno India Group was banned by Infosys just in 2010 because of our seniors vandalism in the placement process.
We get to know tcs will conduct only interview for the candidates who has 75 percent throughout 10,12 and graduation.oh shit my class 12 marks i am short with 3 marks,crap have to sit for interview.My room mate had more than 75 percentage he was in for direct interview.Mighty god why me. TCS had a pattern of sample question which was repeated in every exam. Got that studied them well. The problems were IIT level. Apti prep went well.
Dec 26 we went for apti test. Was feeling jealous for the people was had direct entry. Anyway went for Apti, it went well i solved some other friends problem also .Questions were from the sample paper. Helped a couple of candidates to get through. Apti ended. We gathered in a room for result.3 rooms was there i was in the middle room.The results were announced in the first room.Some were in, some were dejected.I asked some friends if i am in they said may be yes.The TCS people entered in our room started calling names one by one.My heart beat was falling.After 10 15 names yes that's my name.I am in.
