johnny lawrence , you’re important to me, you piece of shit.
despite the words being mumbled under johnny’s breath, daniel can understand them completely. it causes his lips to quirk on one side, the man squinting over to the other, giving johnny a knowing look. they’ve grown closer without either of them expecting to do so. and though danile was more than reluctant at first to give johnny a chance, he finally had to admit that he was important to him, too. but daniel couldn’t make this easy, could be? no, he had to tease johnny, to get a rise out of him. ‘ sorry, i couldn’t quite hear you. wanna say that a little louder? ’ @teacheagle.

‘ does everything have to be a competition with you? ’ exasperated and annoyed sigh leaves the man, aged hands laid firmly on his hips as he shook his head. ‘ no, y’know what? i’m not doing that. you wanna pull a hamstring, go ahead. i have students to teach, ’ @teacheagle.

He’d watched his dad careful before attempting to replicate the move, but it’s not enough, not yet. It’s odd for a move like that to feel so foreign to him, but that only means he’s going to keep trying until he’s perfected it. “I’m not beating myself up.” There it is, that I know more than you and you’ll never catch up attitude that showed up whenever his dad did. He’s decided not to do that shit anymore, but still it’s there, waiting to show up whenever he lets his guard down.
“Just show it to me again.” He’ll do better this time.
Tory and Shannon are planning a nice mother in law / daughter in law lunch date, picking out which pictures to share with each other and planning ways to embarrass Johnny and Robby with matching T-shirts.
