Hello everyone, I’m back with another one of my D6D character stories. Though this one is a bitt differant than the others.
All of my previous short stories have been about characters I play or consider playing. This one is going to be about an NPC. To be more specific, it’s about one of the main villains of the world. Let me introduce you all to King Magnus.

Such a strong word.
It is greater than to resent or loathe someone in my personal.
It imples that you have an intense dislike for someone, to the point were a physical confrontation or deceit would not be a surprise between the two persons.
Though I know there are some people that throw the word around like it means nothing, stripping all meaning of it.
But I am not one of those people. For I know the words intensity and how to use the proper term for it.
As such, I have been able to use other words instead of it such as “irritated” or “dislike”.
For there have not been a single individual in my life that has made me feel the intense feelings of dislike so as to make me use that word.
Due to this, I have had not needed the word “hatred” in my life.
...
Except for right now.
Because. I. Hate. That. Elf.
The one they call Teira, is the one I would call a pain.
For she has insulted me.
For she has humilated me.
For she has gotten in the way of my noble path to rule the land countless times.
And what for? What was it that started this resent filled campaign against my destiny? What was it that almost ruined all of my plans for this land and many others?
Because I was about to take away her pet Kobold.
Looking back on that event with context, I am unable to understand how she began to hate me so just because of that
For crying out loud, it was a Kobold!
Out of every other race on this floating rock, she decides to start her vendetta over me...
... Over a pathetic thing like a Kobold.
Does she not know what good I can do for both this city and the land? How I can lessen the power noble families and rich merchants hold over this land? How I’d be able to help hundreds of poor innocent actually be able to live their life and not be targeted for forced labour? How I can make it so that children don’t have to worry about starving to death?
...
Heh, oh she knows alright. I have told her about my plans and how I intend to follow through with them. How I intend to make things better for the less privileged.
And yet...
... She still opposes me.
Because she thinks I go too far in my attemp to do good. That I’ve committed horrible acts upon many people. That I taken so much from so man people. That I have too much blood on my hands.
(Laughs)
Oh Teira, you naive fool.
Don’t you know, that sometimes sacrifices need to happen for the greater good to be achieved?
Whatever the case may be, this hatred cannot last. For I am sure it will make me less focused in my work. Pull my attention away from what really matters.
And I certainly cannot allow you to keep opposing me.
Me, the king. Someone who just went through his coronation. I cannot allow my people see me this weak infront of a lowly sorcerer. I will not allow you to go against any of my plans again.
For I am king Magnus Glamis I, first of my name and rightful ruler of this land. And while I do consider myself a benevolent king, there shall be no qualms about what happens if you oppose me.
However, I would beunable to directly execute her in public. She has made friends with a rather powerful group of mercenaries and adventurers after all. A fight with them would be unwise.
Even though I would most likely win in the end, I would certainlylose much too many forces. Forces that could be better used elsewhere. So what am I to do with her then?

... Oh
(Laughs)
That could certainly work. It would be nice for her to go on a... trip let’s call it
