regarding the rpg maker game, saw a few people comparing it to gregory horror show. incidentally enough i actually watched the first two seasons with my best friend and used to play the ps2 game a lot and honestly? i dont think it is an insp.
the premise is moreso that people who are slowly losing a reason to live come to gregory house, a hotel where lost spirits reside. the owner gregory and all the guests throughout attempt to drive the protagonist insane so then they can't escape to either a. become a permanent guest or b. have their soul eaten by gregory mama. the ps2 game does have you peak through doors that i can agree on.
the closest thing i can see some comparisons for cannibalism meals is with the character hell's chef where his first episode has him feeds the protagonist a 'meal' implied to be someone he killed for hating his cooking. but most people play the game instead which i dont believe references that.
i highly agree he is stealing from the coffin of andy and leyley. but ghs i am less hesitant on agreeing.
It sounds like an interesting game.
I think it was the bit about peeking into rooms that led people to the assumption that he took inspiration, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t really matter since the chances of the game even being made are as high as the sun exploding tomorrow.
