Neff, you gotta watch Bones. Itās so good! And YES that is Snoop. Itās a loose remake of a ghost revenge 70ās blaxploitation movie. Itās so late 90ās too. Highly underrated. Itās made by the same director as Demon Knight, another movie I adore.
added to the list and bumped to the top my Sunday is sorted š«”
Thank you for letting me know, I don't say this often enough but you have supreme taste and I'm always happy to take recs from you š
I donāt how interested youād be but a podcast I listen to did an episode about Alice Cooper analyzing his work through a trans lens and it gave me a whole different perspective on his stage persona. The podcast is called Totally Trans: Searching for the Trans Canon, the episode was from a few months ago but it shouldnāt be hard to find. If you do listen to it, Iād love to hear what you think.
OoOoOoOo!!!!! Okay I havent listened to it yet and will DM u after with my thoughts (thank God I work in an office type job so I can listen to stuff ehshhdhd) but oh my god yesssss okay so like the thing thats always appealed to me about Alice Cooper in the same way a lot of other celebs with similar.... -transgressive? Is that the word?- Stage personas is that he always appealed to the "freaks, losers, and weirdos" of society. Like the majority of his music is about being outside of the societal norms or rebelling against those norms, so im really interested in what this podcast has to say about it too ššš And I found a few other eps to save to listen to later like the repo and Sweeney Todd ones sgsbhdhhdjdjd
21. for the song ask game pls
Oo I did that one already but Iāll add a few more! Songs that remind me of childhood but specifically high school:
Pop punk was the defining genre for teen me lol
For character ask thingy: Egon
How I feel about this character: i love him, like old-school Disney Princess kind of love
All the people I ship romantically with this character: each of the ghostbusters individually
My non-romantic OTP for this character: janine! walter peck/his right hook!
My unpopular opinion about this character: is there anything that CAN be said......
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.: i donāt wanna see him in this new GB! i simply do not! i think the right respectful thing to do is leave him out of it!
How about some villains: Red Skull, Thanos, Ronan the Accuser
Oh boy. This one is hard since I donāt like any of these guys ajsdhsdf. I donāt read Marvel comics, so Iām just going off the movies.
Rohan
Red Skull
Thanos
I feel like I only put Rohan first cause he was in both GOTG vol 1 and Captain Marvel, two movies I really love but he was just very meh. I liked Ego better in vol 2.
Red Skull was kinda fun in Captain America but he didnāt leave a big impression on me.
I hate Thanos. Like not even in a man I love to hate him kinda way like I feel about Ego. I hate hate hate I had to spend months hearing about this guy being a hero, I hate how Gamoraās arc ended with her abuser killing her and it not being reversed, I hate how people blindly hated Star Lord giving me lots of stress being in the tags at all for months but put Thanos on a pedestal. Thanos was that character I grew tired of hearing about super fast.
Its all petty personal reasons, its all me being too emotional and not having thick enough skin, but its still like if I never heard about Thanos again, I would be cool kinda thing aldhfaldsf.
To add onto what I replied, as much as I hate love triangles, I feel like this organically happened. Hank and Sirena grew apart because of her focus being school and Hank not knowing how to cope, Sirena getting loser to Dean on campus, commiserating over their dads and having similar attitudes. If anything, I'm hopeful this pushes a big change in Hank to either go full villain or reinvent again. He still hasn't found his place yet. There's things that can come out of this that are interesting.
omg I def hate love triangles too, as a trope and especially when theyāre written poorly. But just because thereās a trope thats almost always written poorly, doesnt mean itās bad writing on principal.
This whole thing with Dean/Sirena/Hank of COURSE got me upset and I felt a very paternalĀ āDean, Iām disappointed in youā come out of my mouth LOL but he is a stupid teenage boy and I certainly donāt think him or Sirena were thinking about how this could hurt Hank. They certainly werenāt thinking he was gonna find out. And thatās the thing some young ppl do, especially when theyāre stretching their wings with some newfound freedom. They do stupid, selfish shit, and they donāt think about what thatās gonna do to other people. Itās a very nuanced aspect to lend to your characters, and I think itās only added to the boysā plotlines.Ā Iām not HAPPY WITH IT but I donāt think I would call itĀ ābad writingā lol!
And yeah omg! I ADORE HANK and how far heās come too, but he still feels like heās finding his niche! Especially this season. Hank has always felt more ahead on this stuff than Dean, but weāre seeing that he still has doubts: Heās not in college like everyone else his age, heās not going on adventures with dad anymore, his girlfriend isnāt as freely available as before, so things are getting shaken up ALREADY and heās still working towards finding what heās good at and what he wants to do with his life! Itās so interesting AHHHHH I LOVE THAT BOY!!
Happy Birthday! I love that you draw toothy smiles! šāļøā¤ļø
thank you!! :^)
